Mahindra and Mahindra has introduced the Scorpio N Z8 Select variant in India. The company is offering it at a starting price of Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom). This three-row SUV is available with both diesel and petrol powertrains, providing customers with a choice between manual and automatic gearbox options.
The latest Z8 Select Variant takes its place beneath the Z8 and high-end Z8 L trims. In terms of design, it features LED headlamps with LED DRLs, sequential LED turn indicators, LED projector fog lamps, and 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. Additionally, the SUV offers a Midnight Black exterior colour option.
Within the Z8 Select variant, you will find coffee-black leatherette upholstery adorning the interior, along with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster. The SUV is equipped with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system boasting over 60 connected car functionalities, built-in Alexa support, wireless compatibility for both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a sunroof.
The Scorpio-N Z8 Select offers a choice between petrol and diesel engines. These comprise a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine delivering a maximum power output of 198 bhp with 380 Nm of peak torque, and a 2.2-litre diesel engine generating 173 bhp alongside 400 Nm torque. Transmission options encompass a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
The starting price of the new Z8 variant stands at Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom), going up to Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Here is the detailed price breakup:
