The Thar Roxx is available with 2.0L turbo petrol & 2.2L turbo diesel engines The SUV is priced between Rs 12.99 lakh and Rs 20.49 lakh Deliveries of the Thar Roxx will commence in the first week of October 2025
Mahindra has recently launched the Thar Roxx 5-door lifestyle SUV at a starting price of Rs 12.99 lakh (ex-showroom). Interested buyers can book the new Mahindra Thar Roxx online or at authorised Mahindra dealerships. Deliveries for the same are scheduled to commence in the first week of October 2024. In fact, prices of the top-spec Thar Roxx diesel 4x4 will be revealed in October.
The company had not revealed the ARAI certified fuel efficiency of the Thar Roxx at the time of the launch. Now, the official ARAI certified mileage of the lifestyle SUV has been revealed.

The Thar Roxx is available with two engine options - a 2.0-litre, turbo petrol direct injection (TGDi) and a 2.2-litre mHawk turbo diesel. The petrol version is offered as a RWD model, while the turbo diesel is available with both RWD & 4x4 drive options. The gasoline engine offers 2 states of tunes - 160hp/330Nm and 174hp/380Nm.
The diesel engine is tuned to produce two states of tunes - 150hp/330Nm and 172hp/370Nm. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque convertor automatic.
- The Mahindra Thar Roxx petrol is claimed to offer an ARAI certified mileage of 12.40kmpl.
- The Thar Roxx diesel returns a mileage of 15.20kmpl.
Thar Roxx Price
The off-roader is offered in 6 trim levels - MX1, MX3, AX3L, MX5, AX5L and AX7L. The SUV is available in the price bracket of Rs 12.99 lakh to Rs 20.49 lakh. The company is yet to announce the prices of the AWD diesel version of the SUV. Also See - Mahindra Thar Roxx On-Road Price In 10 Cities
