Mahindra is all set to launch the XUV 3XO EV in India by the next year. The sub-compact SUV was spotted testing recently in its electric avatar once again, hinting at its new details regarding exterior design and interior features. Let's get into more details!
The test mule of the electric XUV 3XO was previously spied last month. It gave us enough ideas about its length, exterior design elements, and specifications. Recent spy shots have now revealed more features.
For instance, the front fascia of the XUV 3XO will be slightly different. The charging port will be located on the front passenger-side front fender. It will have a stacked headlamps setup with a blacked-off grille. Another noteworthy detail is the new set of dual-tone alloy wheels with copper highlights.
Other exterior features will include roof rails, a roof spoiler, a shark fin antenna, and an L-shaped LED tail light bar in the centre.
The interior of the XUV 3XO EV will take inspiration from the XUV 400. It will come in a dual-tone (piano black trim with copper accents) theme. The driver mode selector will be different on the EV. Other features will include a 3-spoke steering wheel, free-standing touchscreen, steering-mounted control, and a wireless mobile charger.
Mahindra XUV 3XO will sit below the XUV 400 which is offered with two battery packs - 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh. However, the electric 3XO is expected to get a smaller back than the XUV 400 EV. It could be a 35 kWh battery, offering a range of around 375 km to 420 km.
The ICE version of Mahindra XUV 3XO was launched this year in May while its electric variant could be launched by March 2025. Upon launch, it will rival the Tata Nexon EV.
