As part of its year-end offerings, Maruti Suzuki has introduced the Celerio Limited Edition at an attractive price of Rs. 4.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is essentially an accessorized version of the hatchback, featuring complimentary fixtures worth Rs.11,000. The Maruti Celerio Limited Edition is on sale for a very limited time, until 31st December 2024. Visually, it appears sportier than the regular Celerio. Let’s explore what this special edition has to offer.
This special edition comes with an exterior body kit, a roof spoiler, and side moulding with chrome inserts. Inside, it features custom-themed floor mats and dual-tone door sill guards.
The accessory package is available right from the base variant. It includes all the features offered on the regular model, such as a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, keyless entry and go, driver seat height adjust, audio system with USB, AUX and Bluetooth, tilt adjust steering, tachometer, steering mounted controls, rear wiper, rear defogger, speed sensing door lock and unlock, hill start assist, dual airbags, seat belt reminders, front seatbelt pre-tensioners, ABS (anti-lock braking system), rear parking sensors and more.
There are no changes under the hood. The Celerio Limited Edition is powered by the same 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine with Dualjet technology and an idle start/stop system. This engine delivers a maximum power of 67bhp and 89Nm of torque and is available with either a 5-speed manual or a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
Additionally, the Celerio is also offered with a factory-fitted CNG kit. In CNG mode, the hatchback produces 56bhp and 82.1Nm of torque, paired exclusively with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Maruti Suzuki claims the Celerio offers fuel efficiency of 25.24 km/l with the petrol-manual variant, 26.68 km/l with the petrol-AMT variant and 34.43 km/kg for the CNG version. All these figures are ARAI-certified.
