Maruti Victoris gets underbody CNG tank It comes with LEVEL-2 ADAS Dolby Atmos and powered tailgate with gesture control
Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest carmaker has finally introduced the long-awaited Victoris mid-sized SUV in India. The Victoris will take on the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and others in the mid-sized segment. The SUV also marks the debut of several Maruti first features. Adding to it, the Maruti Victoris is India’s first car to feature underbody CNG Tank.

The Maruti Victoris comes with an underbody CNG Tank, which helps the Indo-Japanese brand to free up more space in the boot. The Grand Vitara is criticised for offering less boot space compared to its direct rivals. The petrol derivative offers 373-litres of boot, which further reduces to 265-litres in the hybrid powertrain.
With CNG tank in the boot, the Grand Vitara literally offers limited space to carry small backpacks. However, the Maruti Victoris with underbody CNG tank solves this problem.

Maruti Suzuki has confirmed that the Victoris is the first model from the company to offer LEVEL-2 ADAS tech. It offers features like adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, auto high beam, lane assist and others.
Moreover, the Maruti Victoris gets premium sound system with Dolby Atmos audio tech for immersive sound experience. It also gets powered tailgate with gesture control, 64-colour ambient lighting, a larger 10.25-inch digital instrument console, ALEXA support, and many more.
The Maruti Victoris is available with multiple engine options, including a 1.5L, naturally-aspirated petrol with mild-hybrid tech and a 1.5L strong hybrid unit. The NA version also comes with an underbody CNG tank.
Similar to the Grand Vitara, the Victoris gets an AWD drivetrain with the 1.5L NA automatic version. Transmission choices include a 5-speed manual, a 6-speed torque converter automatic and an e-CVT (hybrid only).
