Mercedes-Benz showcased a great range of concept vehicles at the Auto Expo 2025, one of them being the Concept CLA Class that was first revealed at the Munich Motor Show in Germany. This new concept is based on the Mercedes Modular Architecture (MMA) platform.
The CLA Class concept features a futuristic design with a low-slung illuminated grille, LED lightbar, and circular LED headlamps. The cabin design is very mindfully curated with recycled plastics, natural fibers, and sustainably produced and processed Nappa leather. As for the seats, they are crafted from recycled PET.
Inside, the car offers an 'MBUX Superscreen' that is similar to the Vision EQXX concept, with three screens used for the instrument cluster, an infotainment touchscreen, and a display for the front passenger.
The system is expected to be kept for the production version and runs Mercedes-Benz's new MB.OS operating system with Google Maps navigation among other implanted apps.
The concept car features a futuristic design with a low-slung illuminated grille and front LED lights, featuring an innovative animated star pattern. It has a clamshell bonnet and a panoramic glass roof that extends to the rear.
It has a graceful wheelbase, nice proportions, panoramic windows, and a signature shark-nose front-end design.
The next-gen CLA Class production model will be offered with petrol and EV powertrains. The car will be offered with a next-gen 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder petrol engine in three states of tune – 134 BHP, 161 BHP, and 188 BHP.
As for the pure-electric version, it is expected to come with a single electric motor with up to 268 BHP driving the rear axle.
With the CLA Class, Mercedes-Bens showcases how you can experience innovation in automation and an efficient driving journey. This concept is a masterpiece that is pushing boundaries and setting new standards in performance and style while delivering a captivating and innovative design.
