New Mercedes-Benz G450d Diesel SUV Launched - 50 Units Only

Mercedes-Benz India has launched a new variant of its iconic G-Class, the G450d, expanding its diesel lineup. With a price tag of Rs 2.90 crore (ex-showroom), this luxurious off-road SUV offers impressive power, top-notch features, and the renowned ruggedness of the G-Class.

Powerful Engine and Performance

The G450d is powered by a 3.0-litre, inline-six diesel engine paired with a mild-hybrid system. This setup delivers 362bhp and 750Nm of torque, plus a 20bhp boost. With a nine-speed automatic gearbox, the G450d accelerates from 0-100 km/h in just 5.8 seconds.

Designed for Off-Road

The G450d stays true to its G-Class heritage with exceptional off-road features. It includes three differential locks, a sturdy ladder-frame construction, and adaptive damping. With 241mm of ground clearance and a 70cm fording depth, the G450d is built to handle tough terrains. It can also climb steep gradients with ease.

Updated Exterior and Interior

On the outside, the G450d gets a new grille with four horizontal slats, redesigned bumpers, and high-gloss black 20-inch AMG alloy wheels. Inside, it’s packed with luxury, including Nappa leather seats, a new MBUX infotainment system, and a 12.3-inch dual-screen display. A Burmester sound system with Dolby Atmos and ambient lighting completes the premium cabin.

Limited Edition: Only 50 Units in India

Only 50 units of the G450d will be available in India in the initial phase, making it a rare and exclusive vehicle.
