Mahindra will launch its electric SUV lineup between 2026-2028. The BE 6 Rall-E and Thar.e are set to redefine off-roading in electric vehicles. Expect the XUV 3XO EV and Scorpio Electric to compete in the affordable and family SUV segments.
Mahindra is rapidly expanding its electric vehicle lineup and is set to launch several game-changing electric SUVs in the next 2-3 years. These upcoming Mahindra electric SUVs promise to bring exciting features, modern design, and smart technology to the Indian market.

Mahindra BE 6 Rall-E is an off-road-focused version of the BE 6 electric SUV, set to launch in 2026. Recently spotted testing in Chennai, this rugged SUV features a heavily-cladded front bumper, round headlights, and a sporty rear bumper with C-shaped taillights. It is expected to be powered by a dual-motor setup with a large battery pack, offering an impressive 389bhp and 480Nm of torque. The BE 6 Rall-E is designed for adventure enthusiasts, making it one of the most anticipated upcoming game-changing SUVs in India.

Based on the XUV.e8 concept, the Mahindra XEV 7e is a 7-seater electric SUV that will share many components with the XUV700. Expected to launch in Q1 2026, the XEV 7e will be available with a choice of a 59kWh or 79kWh battery, offering a dual-motor AWD version. It will feature a triple-screen dashboard, Harman Kardon sound system, and advanced safety features like Level 2 ADAS. The Mahindra XEV 7e will likely compete with other premium electric SUVs in the market, making it one of the top Mahindra new car launches in 2026.
Mahindra XUV 3XO EV is an entry-level electric SUV designed to rival the Tata Nexon EV. Expected to launch in Q1 2026, it will feature a 35kWh battery pack, offering a range of about 400km on a single charge. With cosmetic updates like an EV-specific front grille and new aero-optimized wheels, the XUV 3XO EV will also come with modern features such as a 12.3-inch touchscreen, panoramic sunroof, and Level 2 ADAS.
Mahindra Thar.e is an all-electric version of the iconic Mahindra Thar, expected to launch by mid-2026. Built on the INGLO EV platform, the Thar.e will retain its rugged, off-road design while offering modern tech features like a large infotainment screen and possibly a new monocoque chassis. With a dual-motor AWD option and a range of 400-500 km, the Thar.e is expected to be priced between Rs 20-25 lakh, making it a compelling option for adventure lovers.
Mahindra Bolero Electric, likely to be named Bolero.e, will be based on the INGLO electric platform. Expected to launch by mid-2027, the Bolero EV will be offered with two battery options - 60kWh and 80kWh, offering a range of 300+ km and 430+ km, respectively. This electric version of the Bolero is expected to come with a modern design and advanced tech features, making it a great option for customers looking for a tough, yet eco-friendly SUV.
Mahindra Scorpio Electric will launch by early 2028 and is set to share the platform and battery pack with the Thar.e and Bolero.e. The Scorpio EV will offer both RWD and AWD configurations and will feature an extended wheelbase for more cabin space. With an expected range of 400-500 km, the Scorpio Electric is sure to be a popular choice among families and adventure enthusiasts alike. Mahindra may also export the Scorpio Electric to international markets like South Africa and Australia.
