MG Motor India has introduced two new 7-seater variants of the Hector Plus. Called the Select Pro and Smart Pro, the 7-seater versions are introduced to further improve sales in the mid-sized SUV category.
MG Select Pro is powered by a 1.5L petrol engine paired with a CVT transmission, while the Smart Pro variant of the Hector Plus is powered by a 2.0L diesel engine mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. The new variants are equipped with 14-inch HD portrait infotainment system, iSmart technology with 75 connected car features, Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a Wireless Phone Charger.
The MG Hector Plus 7-seater rides on 18-inch dual-tone machined alloy wheels. The SUV gets LED projector headlamps, floating light turn indicators and LED Blade Connected tail-lamps. Inside the cabin, the SUV gets premium upholstery, leather-wrapped steering, and wooden finish. It comes equipped with a large digital instrument console with 7-inch embedded LCD screen. Both Select Pro and Smart Pro variants are equipped with Push Button Engine Start/Stop with a Smart Key.
The cabin of the Smart Pro sports Dual Tone Argil Brown and Black interior theme with leatherette seat upholstery. It also gets electrically adjustable driver's seat. For safety and security, the new Hector Plus 7-seater variants get cruise control, electric parking brake, all-4 disc brakes, ESP, traction control system, hill-hold control, ABS with EBD, brake assist, follow-me-home headlamps, cornering front fog lamps, front & rear defogger, and others.
MG is offering unique car ownership program "MG SHIELD," offering after-sales service options. Customers will also benefit from the standard 3+3+3 package, including a three-year warranty with unlimited kilometres, three years of roadside assistance, and three labour-free periodic services.
