It is no secret that JSW MG Motor India will launch two new luxury electric vehicles before Diwali 2025. MG will launch the M9 luxury MPV and the Cyberster 2-door electric sports car in India. Both vehicles will be sold through MG SELECT premium dealership network. Now, MG has officially confirmed that the MG M9, the Presidential Limousine, will launch before the Cyberster.
In a press release, MG Motor India confirmed that it is gearing up for the launch of its first luxury offering - the MG M9, Presidential Limousine, closely followed by the MG Cyberster. Interested buyers can book the new M9 and Cyberster online by paying a token amount of Rs 51,000.

The electric MPV measures 5,200mm in length, 2,000mm in width and 1,800mm in height, and has a long wheelbase of 3,200mm. In terms of pricing, the luxurious electric MPV will be positioned between the Kia Carnival and Toyota Vellfire.
The MG M9 is available with 7- and 8-seater layouts. The Presidential Limousine gets two sunroofs (a single-pane front and a dual-pane sunroof for the rear). In terms of features, the electric MPV gets 64-colour ambient lighting, electrically adjustable front and rear seats with heating, massage and ventilation functions, ottoman seats in second-row, rear entertainment screens, LEVEL 2 ADAS and power rear-sliding doors.
The electric MPV is equipped with 90kWh battery pack and a front-axle-mounted electric motor. This electric MPV offers a maximum power and torque of 245hp and 350Nm, respectively. It is claimed to offer a WLTP range of up to 430km.

Set to be India’s most affordable sports car, the new MG Cyberster will brought via the CBU route in limited numbers. The electric sports car is packed with a 77kWh battery with a dual-motor AWD setup. The combined power and torque output stands at 510bhp and 725Nm, respectively.
The MG Cyberster is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph acceleration in just 3.2 seconds. Using a DC fast charger, the battery can achieve 10-80% charging status in just 35 minutes. The EV offers four driving modes - Eco, Normal, Sport, and Track (AWD only).
In terms of features, the Cyberster EV gets LED lighting system, retractable soft top roof, active rear spoiler, triple screen set-up, customisable ambient lighting, augmented reality (AR) HUD, 360 degree surround view camera, heated and ventilated sport bucket seats, LEVEL 2 ADAS and more.
