MG Hector Hawk teaser is now out ahead of its August 26 launch. The three-row SUV gets a digital cabin and distinctive new exterior. A 56.7kWh battery with around 530km range is expected for the EV.
JSW-MG Motor India has released the first teaser images of the upcoming Hector Hawk, giving a closer look at the new three-row SUV ahead of its India launch on August 26, 2026. The company has also confirmed that the SUV is based on the Wuling Starlight 560. Pre-bookings for the Hector Hawk are already open at Rs 21,000.

The latest teaser images reveal several details of the Hector Hawk's exterior. The SUV gets a split DRL setup, black grille with chrome inserts and the MG logo, along with LED headlamps and a sculpted bonnet.
The design also features contrast-coloured skid plates and large dual-tone alloy wheels. Other highlights include body-coloured ORVMs, wraparound LED taillights, an integrated spoiler and a rear wiper with washer. The Hector Hawk also gets a blacked-out roof and pillars, roof rails, a shark-fin antenna and a brushed aluminium window line.

The teaser also provides a first look inside the cabin. The Hector Hawk gets a beige interior theme and a three-row seating layout. All three rows are expected to get adjustable headrests. The dashboard features a two-spoke multifunction steering wheel, a large freestanding touchscreen and a fully digital colour instrument cluster. The centre console gets cup holders, an armrest and additional storage space.
The Hector Hawk will be the first product based on MG's Adapt platform and is expected to arrive in India with an electric powertrain initially. The global Starlight 560 EV uses a 56.7kWh battery pack and has a claimed range of around 530km on a single charge.
A plug-in hybrid version is also offered globally. It uses a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine with a 20.5kWh battery pack, producing around 194bhp and 230Nm. The exact India-spec powertrain options and specifications will be announced at launch.
The MG Hector Hawk will launch in India on August 26, 2026, with pre-bookings already underway for Rs 21,000. With its three-row layout, EV-first approach, distinctive exterior and technology-focused cabin, the Hector Hawk will add a new electrified option to MG's SUV portfolio.
