Recently, MG launched India's first Intelligent CUV - the Windsor EV with a starting price of Rs 9.99 lakh (ex-showroom). It is available in three variants, namely Excite, Exclusive, and Essence. At launch, the brand only revealed the base variant price (Rs 9.99 lakh) excluding the battery rental which costs Rs 3.5/km. Today, MG has classified the prices of all three variants of Windsor EV which includes the battery cost as well. Let's take a look at the Windsor EV prices.

Based on the fresh details, the Windsor EV base model, Excite is priced at Rs 13.49 lakh while the mid-spec variant, Exclusive comes at Rs 14.49 lakh. Meanwhile, the top-spec Essence model costs Rs 15.49 lakh. (All prices are ex-showroom). These prices include the battery rental as well. Without a battery pack, the base variant can be purchased at Rs 9.99 lakh while the other two variants' prices (without battery) are yet to be announced.
At this price point, MG Windsor EV beats its rivals including the Tata Nexon EV, which currently stands at Rs 12.49 lakh and Mahindra XUV400 which costs Rs 15.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Windsor EV features an AeroGlide design language which looks quite attractive from the outside. Positioned between Comet EV and ZS EV, the new MG EV offers a luxurious business-class in-cabin experience with a wide range of hi-tech features. Some of its noteworthy features include Aero Lounge seats with a 135-degree recline system, a large glass roof, 15.6-inch big touchscreen infotainment with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, 256-colour ambient lighting, and a lot more.
It is offered in four exterior paint options which include Pearl White, Turquoise Green, Starburst Black and Clay Beige.
Safety-wise, the MG Windsor EV comes with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, an Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold, Rear Parking Sensors, and Electronic Stability Control.
The Windsor EV gets a 38kWh battery pack with a front-axle-mounted electric motor. This unit can churn out 134 bhp and 200 Nm of torque. It offers the ARAI claimed range of 332 km. Drive mode options include Exo, Eco+, Normal, and Sport. It is believed that MG might also offer a large 50.8kWh battery unit which is available in the global-spec Cloud EV.
