Kia is all set to introduce the new-gen Kia Seltos next week. This is one of the most awaited SUV updates of the year. The new model will get a fresh design, better technology and new features to make it more modern and premium. The new Kia Seltos launch date is officially set for December 10, 2025. This world premiere will highlight all major updates coming to the new-gen model.

The new gen Seltos India launch is expected in the first half of 2026. With the global debut happening in December, Indian customers won’t have to wait too long for the refreshed SUV.

Updated Design for the 2026 Kia Seltos

The new-gen Kia Seltos gets a bold new look with a wider front grille, new Star Map DRLs and updated LED tail-lamps. The SUV has a more upright stance, a flatter roofline and smoother body panels for a cleaner shape. It also features flush door handles for better aerodynamics. New colour options and trims like X-Line and GT-Line will be available.

Modern and Feature-Rich Interior

Inside, the 2026 Kia Seltos comes with two large connected digital screens for the instrument cluster and infotainment system. Expected features include a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, dual-zone climate control, a 360-degree camera and Level 2+ ADAS. The cabin aims to offer more comfort and a premium feel.

Engine Options Likely to Remain the Same

The new model is expected to continue with the same engines as the current Seltos - 1.5-litre petrol, 1.5-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre turbo diesel. Both manual and automatic gearbox options will be offered. A hybrid version is expected in 2027.

The current Kia Seltos price in India starts at around Rs 10.79 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base petrol model and goes up to about Rs 9.81 lakh for the top variants. The new-generation Seltos is expected to start at around Rs 11.25 lakh, offering an updated design, more features, a dual-screen layout, ADAS and possibly a new hybrid option.
