Skoda has officially announced that it will launch the facelifts of Kushaq and Slavia sedan in the country. In fact, Skoda Kushaq facelift has already been caught testing on the Indian roads. However, Skoda Slavia facelift is yet to enter testing phase. The updated sedan will receive design changes and upgraded cabin along with several new high-end features.
First launched in 2022, the Slavia has been one of the top-selling mid-sized sedans in India. The Skoda Slavia facelift is expected to be launched in the country in the first quarter of 2026. This year, Skoda will launch the Octavia RS in India.
The updated Slavia will come with a significantly redesigned exterior design, featuring Skoda’s new “Modern Solid” design language. The sedan is expected to receive a refreshed front design with an updated grille, slightly tweaked headlamps and new bumper. The rear profile will also receive some changes in the form of new bumper and modern LED lighting system. The side profile is likely to remain the same, except for the new set of alloys.
The cabin will also receive several changes in terms of revised dashboard and new features. It is likely to get a larger 10.25-inch digital instrument console instead of the current 8-inch unit. Other additions could include a 360-degree surround view camera, a new sound system, and an electronic parking brake with auto hold.
The 2026 Skoda Slavia facelift is likely to get LEVEL 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) suite, which is missing in the current model. The sedan will have autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane assist, auto high beam and others. Six airbags, ABS with EBD and ESC will come as standard.
The 2026 Skoda Slavia facelift is likely to be offered with the existing engine options, including a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre, 4-cylinder turbo petrol. While the former is good for 115 PS and 178 Nm of torque, the 4-cylinder turbo unit produces 150 PS and 250 Nm. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed torque convertor automatic with 1.0L engine and a 7-speed DSG or DCT with 1.5L unit.
