The much-anticipated Tata Curvv SUV Coupe is all set to go on sale in the Indian market. The company has released a couple of teasers of the upcoming Curvv EV, which will be positioned above the Nexon EV. Debuted in 2022, the SUV Coupe in near production avatar was showcased to the public at the 2024 Bharat Mobility Show.
The exact launch timeline is yet to be revealed, but the production version of the Curvv SUV Coupe could be introduced in July or August 2024. The ICE version of the SUV will come at a later stage, most probably around September-October 2024.
The Tata Curvv EV will come with a Coupe-like rear profile, which is slowly gaining popularity among Indian buyers. This model will be introduced in the crowded mid-sized SUV category, which is dominated by Hyundai Creta. With Curvv, Tata Motors wants to present a uniquely styled model to cater to a different set of buyers.
The teaser reveals that the new Tata Curvv will look largely identical to the concept model; however, it will have some design changes. The teaser reveals that the new Curvv will come with a split headlamp setup. The main headlamp unit is placed on the lower bumper and looks similar to that of the new Nexon and Punch EV. The LED DRLs are positioned on the top and also appear similar to the smaller siblings.
The new Tata Curvv will come with newly designed alloy wheels, flared wheel arches, and black plastic cladding and steeply sloping roofline. It gets a new two-piece wraparound LED tail-lights, a flush-fitting door handle and a shark fin antenna.
The SUV Coupe interiors in production avatar are yet to be revealed, but the spy images reveal that the Curvv interiors could share similarities with the new Nexon and Harrier SUVs. The SUV is likely to receive a twin-display dominating the dashboard, a twin-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo, a touch-sensitive climate control panel and a heads-up display.
The SUV is likely to receive multiple interior schemes and colour coded dashboard layout with use of silver garnish and piano black finish. The company could also offer variant specific interior themes.
