Maruti's first flex-fuel car arrives on June 4. Tata Sierra EV and Honda ZR-V are among the biggest launches. BMW, Mercedes-Benz, BYD and Mini also have major launches planned.
June 2026 is turning out to be one of the busiest months for the Indian auto industry. From electric SUVs and plug-in hybrids to luxury sedans and performance SUVs, several major launches and unveils are lined up over the next few weeks.
Here's a look at the biggest car launches expected this month, arranged according to their launch timeline.
Maruti Suzuki will kick off the month with the unveiling of its first production-ready flex-fuel vehicle on June 4.
The company has previously showcased flex-fuel versions of the Fronx and Wagon R, and one of these models could become the first to reach production. The unveiling will take place ahead of World Environment Day and highlights Maruti Suzuki's push towards cleaner fuel alternatives.

BYD will unveil its first plug-in hybrid vehicle for India on June 9.
While the company has not officially confirmed the model, the Sealion 6 and Atto 2 are among the strongest possibilities. The hybrid powertrain combines a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor and could deliver a driving range of nearly 1,000 km.
This launch will mark BYD's entry into India's growing plug-in hybrid segment.
Mercedes-Benz will launch the updated S-Class luxury sedan on June 15.
The facelift brings extensive upgrades, including the brand's latest MB.OS operating system and, for the first time in India, a plug-in hybrid version of the flagship sedan. Mercedes says nearly half of the vehicle's components have been updated or replaced.
Mini India will expand its SUV portfolio with the launch of the Countryman C on June 17.
Unlike the electric and JCW versions already on sale, the Countryman C will be locally assembled and is expected to be the most affordable Countryman available in India.
Power will come from a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 134 bhp and 230 Nm.
Honda is expected to announce prices for the ZR-V hybrid SUV sometime this month.
The SUV was recently showcased in India and will arrive as a CBU import. It uses a 2.0-litre strong-hybrid powertrain producing 184 hp and 315 Nm.
The ZR-V will sit at the top of Honda's SUV lineup and offer premium features such as a Bose sound system, powered seats and Level-2 ADAS.

BMW is bringing back the X6 coupe-SUV to India.
The model returning to India is the facelifted version of the third-generation X6 and will be offered in the performance-focused M60i xDrive trim.
Its 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine generates 523 bhp and 750 Nm, helping it sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 4.9 seconds.
The Tata Sierra EV is likely to be one of the biggest launches of the month.
Expected towards the end of June, the electric SUV will feature a distinctive design, advanced technology and multiple battery pack options. A larger 75kWh battery pack with a dual-motor setup is expected on higher variants.
Real-world range could be close to 500 km, while ADAS and premium cabin features are also expected to be offered.
While a launch date has not yet been confirmed, Skoda is also expected to introduce the Kodiaq RS in India soon.
The performance SUV will feature a more powerful 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, all-wheel drive and RS-specific styling upgrades. It will also become the first RS-badged Skoda SUV to go on sale in India.
