Tata Sierra EV is expected to launch by the end of June. Honda ZR-V and BYD's first plug-in hybrid SUV are arriving soon. BMW X6, Mini Countryman C and Kodiaq RS headline the premium SUV segment.
SUV buyers are in for a treat this June. From electric SUVs and hybrids to performance-focused luxury models, several exciting launches are lined up across different price segments. Whether you're planning to buy an EV, a premium family SUV or a sporty luxury model, there's plenty to look forward to.
Here's a look at the top six SUVs expected to launch in June 2026.
BYD is set to unveil its first plug-in hybrid vehicle for India on June 9. While the company hasn't officially revealed the model, the Sealion 6 and Atto 2 are among the strongest possibilities. The SUV is expected to combine a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor and could offer a driving range of nearly 1,000 km. This launch will mark BYD's entry into India's growing plug-in hybrid SUV market.

Mini India will launch the Countryman C on June 17. Unlike the electric and John Cooper Works versions already available, the Countryman C will be locally assembled, making it the most accessible Countryman in India. It gets a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine producing 134 bhp and 230 Nm. The SUV is expected to appeal to buyers looking for a compact luxury SUV with Mini's signature styling.
Honda is expected to announce prices for the ZR-V hybrid SUV this month. Positioned above the Elevate, the ZR-V will arrive as a CBU import and use a 2.0-litre strong-hybrid powertrain producing 184 hp and 315 Nm. Premium features such as powered seats, Bose audio, a digital driver's display and Level-2 ADAS will be part of the package.
BMW is bringing back the X6 coupe-SUV to India. The facelifted model will be offered in the high-performance M60i xDrive variant. Power comes from a 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine generating 523 bhp and 750 Nm. BMW claims the SUV can sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 4.9 seconds.
Tata Sierra EV is likely to be one of the biggest launches of the month. Expected towards the end of June, the electric SUV will feature a modern interpretation of the iconic Sierra design. Higher variants are expected to get a 75 kWh battery pack with a dual-motor setup and a real-world driving range of around 500 km. ADAS, premium interiors and connected car technology are also expected.
Skoda is expected to introduce the Kodiaq RS in India soon. The performance SUV will feature a more powerful 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine, all-wheel drive and RS-specific styling upgrades. It will also become the first RS-badged SUV from Skoda to be sold in India.
