To celebrate this festive season, Toyota India has introduced an all-new Signature Edition of its select models including Fortuner, Hyryder, Glanza, and Hycross. This special edition comes with enhanced visual appeal and a premium interior. Both the Hyryder and Fortuner Signature Editions started reaching dealerships. Let’s have a look at the design and features.
With the new edition, the Fortuner strikes a dual-tone (Grey and White) theme on the outside with Blue stripes on the bonnet and front grille. Other notable exterior features include a Signature Edition emblem below the A-Pillar and new dual-tone alloy wheels. Inside the car, it features a Teal and Navy Blue effect along with the starry roof option.
Other tech features include an 8-inch touchscreen, ventilated front seats, a premium JBL sound system, and a TFT multi-information display. Safety features include a traction control system, hill assist control, vehicle stability control, and seven airbags.
Mechanically, there are no changes. It continues to be powered by a 2.8-litre diesel unit, producing 201 bhp/420 Nm with a 6-speed MT and 201 bhp/500 Nm with 6-speed AT.
Price for the Fortuner Signature Edition stands at Rs 39.08 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Hyryder Signature Edition features a dual-tone exterior paint scheme - Navy Blue with Silver and Wine Red with Silver. It highlights a revised front grille, Piano Black body side moulding, blue-coloured brake callipers, and a new set of alloy wheels. The interior of the new edition version highlights dual-tone upholstery, leatherette seats, velvet black theme, and more.
Under the hood, it continues to carry the same set of engines. The 1.5-litre petrol can churn out 102 bhp with 136 Nm while the 1.5-litre hybrid unit, paired to an electric motor can push out 91 bhp with 122 Nm of torque.
Toyota is yet to announce the price for the Hyryder Signature Edition.
