Vietnamese automaker VinFast revealed the all-electric VF Wild pickup concept at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 in India. The rugged design of the VF Wild and flexible functionality coupled with exceptional performance promise appeal to a new generation of young customers who are seeking green mobility options without sacrificing performance.
The dimensions for the VF Wild are 5,324 mm in length and 1,997 mm in width. To give a better view, it is comparable to the size of the Toyota Hilux pickup, which has a length of 5,325 mm but is 1,855 mm in width. The design of the VF Wild is as sleek and modern as the rest of the VinFast models, such as the VF 8 and VF 9. Sharp headlights and a split light bar across the width are also features of this pickup. Glossy black body cladding at the front and rear and skid plates make this pickup look tough. The pickup looks more rugged with large tyres and a muscular stance. It helps in saving aerodynamics by digital outside rearview mirrors.
One of the most interesting features of the VF Wild pickup is a versatile load bed. The rear seats can fold down, and the powered folding mid-gate will extend the bed length from 5 feet to 8 feet. It thus allows the longest load bed in its segment and is ideal for carrying large loads or outdoor gear.
While much of the interior details remain veiled, the VF Wild is supposed to provide a very high-class minimalistic cabin with lots of sustainable materials and high-tech elements, including a large infotainment system. On the powertrain side, VinFast hasn't released full information yet, but the concept should be driven by around a 100 kWh massive battery pack paired with the possibility of a dual-motor setup, though there might also be a quad-motor version.
It was engineered to battle other electric trucks, including the Ford F-150 Lightning, Rivian RT1, and Tesla Cybertruck. In its conceptual form, it might be available a little sooner as a production model sometime in the future. The VF Wild will definitely make a massive statement in the electric vehicle pickup market, combining rugged design with electric performance and innovative features.
