New Toyota Hilux will launch in India on July 28. Updated Innova Hycross is expected to arrive in early 2027. Both models will bring fresh styling and new features.
Toyota is getting ready for two important launches in India. The first will be the all-new Hilux, which is set to arrive on July 28, while the updated Innova Hycross is expected to follow in early 2027. Both models are expected to receive design changes, more features and improved technology.
The biggest launch from Toyota this month will be the ninth-generation Hilux pickup truck. The new Hilux gets a tougher-looking front design with slimmer LED headlamps, a larger grille with TOYOTA lettering and a redesigned bumper. The bonnet has also been reshaped, giving the pickup a more muscular look. Although the side profile remains similar to the outgoing model, the cabin has been completely redesigned with a cleaner dashboard and a more premium feel.

Toyota is expected to equip the new Hilux with several new features. These are likely to include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, electric power steering and multiple USB Type-C charging ports. The pickup is also expected to offer more advanced safety features, including a driver monitoring camera, blind spot monitor, safe exit assist, proactive driving assist and a pre-collision safety system.
Under the hood, Toyota is expected to continue offering the familiar 2.8-litre turbo-diesel engine. The engine develops 201 hp and up to 500 Nm of torque with the automatic gearbox. Buyers are expected to get both six-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmission options, along with a standard four-wheel-drive system.
After the Hilux launch, Toyota is expected to introduce the updated Innova Hycross in early 2027. The facelift is likely to get a redesigned front grille, updated LED headlamps and refreshed tail-lamps. The lighting elements could also be connected by a new trim piece, giving the MPV a fresh look. New alloy wheels are also expected to be part of the update.
Inside, Toyota is likely to make a few changes to keep the Innova Hycross up to date. The facelift could get a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and faster USB Type-C charging ports. Apart from these additions, the overall cabin layout is expected to remain largely unchanged. Toyota is not expected to make any changes to the existing petrol and strong hybrid powertrains.
The new Hilux and the Innova Hycross facelift will be two of Toyota's key launches over the next few months. The Hilux will bring a fresh design, a redesigned cabin and more technology, while the Innova Hycross facelift will receive styling updates and a few new features. Together, these launches will help Toyota refresh two of its most important models in the Indian market.
