Tata Motors recently announced the launch of its New Red Dark Editions for the Safari and Harrier. With the new edition, both these vehicles now come with high-tech features including ADAS. Moreover, these newly added features are now available on the regular trims of Safari and Harrier. However, the price of these vehicles has been hiked too. While the price of the Tata Harrier starts from Rs 15 lakh (ex-showroom), the Safari retails from Rs 15.65 lakh (ex-showroom). In terms of the exterior design, both Tata Harrier and Safari SUVs remain unchanged. The biggest upgrade in these SUVs is the inclusion of new features added on the inside. The 2023 Tata Safari and Harrier now get safety equipment like Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a 360-degree parking camera, and 6 airbags. The ADAS-tech includes features like Lane Change Alert, Blind Spot Detection, Forward Collision Warning, High Beam Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, and more. Other high-tech features like a new 10.25-inch touchscreen system with connected car technology and a 7.0-inch digital instrument cluster can be found on the New Red Dark Editions.

As far as the engine options are concerned, both SUVs continue to carry the 2.0-litre diesel engine. However, the engines now comply with BS6 Phase-2 Real Drive Emission (RDE) Norms. The 2.0-litre turbo-charged diesel unit here is capable of making 167 bhp of power output with 350 Nm of peak torque. Besides, the power plant comes paired to a 6-speed manual and an automatic transmission.

The 2023 Editions of both the Tata Harrier and Tata Safari are priced between Rs 15 lakh to Rs 24.07 (ex-showroom) and Rs 15.65 lakh to Rs 24.82 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. These prices are anticipated because of the updated safety features and ADAS technology.
