Toyota Kirloskar Motors has re-launched its popular MPV, the Innova Crysta in the Indian market. First introduced back in 2005, the Innova has gained value for its comfort, reliability, power, and safety. Now, with a mild facelift, the MPV gets an improved front fascia, reflecting more of an SUV look. In addition, the model is available in four trims of diesel manual transmission. The company has also started accepting bookings at a token amount of Rs 50,000. Customers can now book their vehicle online (www.toyotabharat.com) or via the nearest authorized dealership. Prices for the four-wheeler are expected to be announced very soon.
According to the images shared by the company, the new Innova Crysta remains mostly unchanged. The only significant update is to its front end. Now, it gets a bit smaller but more prominent front grille and an updated front chin. The fog lamps have been redesigned too, however, the side profile and the overall appearance remains the same as the outgoing model. Besides, the MPV is available in five colours that include Superwhite, White Pearl Crystal Shine, Avant Garde Bronze, Silver, and Attitude Black.
Moving on to the interior, the New Innova Crysta features rear auto AC with digital display, smart entry system, 8-way power adjust driver seat, one-touch tumble second row seats, seat back table, ambient illumination, leather seat color options (Black and Camel Tan), and TFT MID with detailed drive information. In terms of safety equipment, the 2023 Toyota Innova Crysta provides front and rear parking sensors, 7 SRS airbags, Hill-Start Assist Control, Vehicle Stability Control, Anti-Lock Braking System, Brake Assist, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, headrest, and 3-point seatbelt.
The new iteration of the Crysta is being diesel only. It is powered by a 2.4-litre diesel engine mated to a 5-speed manual transmission with Eco and Power Drive Modes. Besides, it is available in four trims; G, GX, Vx, and Zx. All trims offer a 7 to 8-seat layout while the Zx comes in a 7-seater configuration only.
