The Korean automaker, Kia is preparing to launch the new Carens facelift in the country. The MPV has been caught testing multiple times, suggesting an imminent launch. The 2025 Kia Carens facelift will come with cosmetic design changes and an upgraded interior; however, mechanics are likely to remain the same.
Kia is yet to reveal the exact launch date of the new Carens facelift. It is reported that the 2025 Kia Carens will be launched in April. The company is also developing an electric derivative of the MPV, which is likely to be introduced sometime in mid-2025 - most probably in June 2025.
The new MPV will be sold alongside the existing Carens MPV. It will come with a new suffix in the name, which differentiate it from the regular model. The new MPV will have more premium features and will be introduced as an upmarket model.
The new Carens facelift will retain the silhouette of the current car, but, it will have design and interior upgrades along with an added features. It is expected to receive new front fascia with design similar to the new Syros, and new set of alloy wheels. The MPV will have new bumpers, and new lighting system.
The cabin will have new dashboard layout featuring new connected screens holding a bigger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment unit and a 10.25-inch digital driver's display. The MPV will also come with a panoramic sunroof and an ADAS suite. The ADAS tech includes adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, lane assist and others.
The new Carens will retain the existing engine options including a 1.5L naturally-aspirated petrol, a 1.5L turbo diesel and a 1.5L turbo petrol. Both manual and automatic gearbox options will be on offer.
