Hyundai to launch Bayon by October Bookings open at Rs 11,000
Hyundai Motor India has announced the commencement of bookings for its upcoming Hyundai Bayon midsize SUV. Interested customers can book the Hyundai Bayon online through Hyundai’s official website or at any authorised Hyundai dealerships with a booking amount of Rs 11,000. While the official launch date is yet to be announced, we expect the new Hyundai Bayon to go on sale by October 2026.

Called the Intelligent Utility Vehicle, the Hyundai Bayon comes with in-built generative AI voice assistant that offers an intelligent mobility experience, enabling more natural and intuitive interactions between driver and vehicle. The company has also released new exterior design images, revealing its proportions and styling details. The Hyundai Bayon comes with a sculpted bonnet design, and a signature H-Edge LED daytime running lights. It comes with Geometric Wheel Arches, Wrap-around Door Cladding and Bridge-Type Roof rails.
The Hyundai Bayon measures 4.2 meters in length, sits right between the sub-4m Venue and the Creta. In fact, the next-gen Creta will grow in size and is expected to measure close to 4.5 meters in length. Hyundai claims that the Bayon will offer superior legroom, headroom and shoulder room for all occupants.
The Hyundai Bayon is built on the Global K Enhanced Platform, which is engineered for 5-star Indian safety standards. Hyundai claims that the Bayon is designed with a strong focus on occupant protection, structural rigidity and advanced safety engineering to meet the expectations of modern customers.
The Bayon will be powered by a 1.5-litre, naturally-aspirated petrol engine paired to either a 6-speed manual or a CVT automatic. This engine is capable of producing 114bhp and 144Nm of torque. It will be the first Hyundai above 4 meters to get a factory-fitted CNG option. In fact, the SUV will get an underbody CNG tank.
