Hyundai Motor India is preparing to launch the Hyundai Exter facelift 2026, with the updated model expected around March 2026. Recent spy images shared by automotive enthusiast S Balaji show the test car on Indian roads, hinting that the launch is getting closer.
The Exter has been a strong seller in the small SUV space. With the 2026 Hyundai Exter facelift, the car brand is expected to focus on small improvements rather than big changes.

New Hyundai Exter is likely to keep its boxy and upright design. Small updates to the front and rear, along with new colour options, may help refresh its look without changing its identity.

Hyundai could also update the variant structure for the Hyundai Exter facelift. A revised trim strategy may make it easier for buyers to choose between feature levels.
Inside, the Hyundai Exter facelift 2026 may get a larger touchscreen, an updated digital instrument cluster, and improved connected car features. These updates will help improve the overall in-cabin experience.
Hyundai may add a few comfort-focused features in the 2026 Exter, such as better seat support and small convenience upgrades like faster USB charging ports and rear sunshades.
Safety is expected to remain a strong point. The Hyundai Exter facelift is likely to continue with six airbags and electronic stability control as standard.
The 2026 Hyundai Exter facelift is expected to continue with the 1.2-litre petrol engine, known for smooth performance and low running costs. The CNG option is also likely to remain on offer.
With added features, the Hyundai Exter facelift 2026 launch date may also bring a small price hike. However, the Exter is expected to remain a value-focused option in its segment.
