JSW MG Motor India has officially teased its upcoming flagship SUV, the MG Majestor, revealing fresh details ahead of its debut on February 12, 2026. Positioned above the Gloster, the Majestor will enter the premium D+ SUV space and is expected to be the brand’s biggest and most feature-packed offering yet.
MG Majestor launch date is now confirmed for February 12, 2026. MG has already started building excitement with teaser images highlighting the SUV’s size, design and road presence. Once launched, it will take on established full-size SUVs in the Indian market.

The first official teaser puts strong focus on scale and dominance. MG claims the Majestor will be India’s longest, widest and tallest SUV. Up front, it gets a bold ‘Majestic Matrix’ grille, sharp Falcon-style LED DRLs and split headlamps. The overall look is muscular and aggressive, good for a commanding road presence.
Based on the Maxus D90 platform, the MG Majestor features darker grille elements, revised bumpers, skid plates and chunky wheel arches compared to the Gloster. It is expected to ride on 19-inch alloy wheels, while the rear will get redesigned tail lamps, dual exhaust tips and prominent Majestor badging.
Under the hood, the MG Majestor is expected to continue with MG’s proven 2.0-litre four-cylinder twin-turbo diesel engine. This motor produces 213 bhp and 478 Nm of torque and is likely to be paired with an automatic gearbox. A four-wheel-drive system is also expected, though MG is yet to officially confirm it.
Inside, the Majestor will focus heavily on comfort, technology and safety. Expected highlights include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, connected car tech and a premium audio system. Comfort features are likely to include powered and ventilated seats, a panoramic sunroof and three-zone climate control.
On the safety front, the SUV is expected to come with Level 2 ADAS, multiple airbags and a 360-degree camera system. These MG Majestor features and specifications place it firmly in the premium SUV category.
MG Majestor price in India is expected to reflect its flagship positioning. While MG has not shared official numbers yet, the SUV could be priced higher than the Gloster, placing it firmly in the premium full-size SUV segment. Prices are expected to be announced at launch.
