Hyundai Creta EV to launch on January 17, 2025 Ioniq 9 and Staria MPV to make India debut at Auto Expo 2025 4-seater Kia Carnival Hi-Limousine to reveal at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025
The next edition of the Auto Expo 2025 is scheduled to commence from January 17, 2025. Hyundai and Kia plans to bring some of its highly-awaited and globally popular cars at the Auto Expo 2025. While Hyundai will announce the prices of Creta EV, Kia will launch the new EV6 facelift. Adding to it, both brands will showcase some of its global SUVs and MPVs at the 2nd edition of Bharat Mobility Global Expo.

The Korean automaker, Hyundai will showcase the Staria MPV at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. First introduced in 2021, the Hyundai Staria is currently on sale in select international markets including Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa and others. It is offered with two powertrain options - a 2.2L VGT diesel and 3.5L Smartstream MPI petrol engines, offering 175bhp and 268bhp, respectively. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual and an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
The new Hyundai MPV is 5253mm long, 1997mm wide and 1990mm tall, and has a wheelbase of 3273mm. The Staria is being offered with multiple seating arrangements including 7, 8, 9 and 11-seater, depending on the variant and market.

The brand's biggest electric SUV, the Hyundai Ioniq 9 will be showcased to Indian public at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. It is based on the E-GMP Born-EV platform, which is versatile enough to accommodate differently sized cars. This EV measures 5,060mm in length and is offered in 6-and 7-seater layouts. The second-row seats can rotate 180 degree to face third-row occupants when the car's stationary.
Key features include panoramic sunroof, 12-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a 12-inch digital driver's display, 10 airbags, ADAS and others. It features a 110.3 kWh battery pack, which supports fast charging with support up to 350kW DC charger. The e-SUV is claimed to offer WLTP range of up to 620km. The Ioniq 9 is available with two trims - LR RWD and LR AWD. The LR RWD gets a 218hp electric motor and is claimed to achieve 0-100kmph in 9.4 seconds. On the other side, the LR AWD variant comes with an additional 95hp, 225Nm motor at the front. This model achieves 0-100kmph acceleration in just 6.7 seconds.

Kia will launch the new EV6 facelift at the Auto Expo 2025. The updated model will come with revised styling and an upgraded interior. On the outside, the SUV gets sleek triangular LED DRLs, aggressively-styled bumper and an updated air dam. The side profile gets new dual-tone alloy wheels. At the back, the new EV6 gets signature LED tail-lights.
Inside the cabin, the 2025 Kia EV6 facelift will come with a 12-inch HUD (Heads-Up Display), new three-spoke steering wheel with an offset logo, and a digital IRVM. It gets a larger 84kWh battery pack, which replaces the existing 77.4kWh battery pack. Using 350kW DC fast charger, the battery can achieve 10-80 percent charging in just 18 minutes.

The new 4-seater Kia Carnival Hi-Limousine is set to make India debut at the 2025 Bharat Mobility Global Expo. This model offers versatile and premium interior to give luxury feel to chauffer-driven customers. On sale in South Korea and Singapore, the 4-seater Kia Carnival directly rivals the Toyota Vellfire.
It is packed with two large premium captain chairs in the second row, and comes with high-quality Nappa leather seats with 3D quilted design. It also gets an ottoman seats that offers an extended leg support. There is a touchscreen remote display, which is used to control a range of electric seats. It also gets a roof-mounted 21.5-inch LED TV, which is controlled by a touchscreen remote display. Kia offers foot massager for the second-row occupants, which is developed in collaboration with Hu-Tech, a healthcare company.
