Hyundai Venue has been a popular choice in India since its debut in 2019, quickly becoming one of the brand’s best-selling models. After receiving its first major facelift in 2022, the subcompact SUV is now set for a complete generation update. The upcoming third-generation Venue has been spotted testing multiple times on Indian roads, hinting at big changes in design, features, and technology.
Hyundai India is preparing to launch this new model on October 24, 2025, just after Diwali. While the company has not officially confirmed the name, it is widely believed to be the all-new Hyundai Venue, codenamed QU2i.
While Hyundai hasn’t revealed the exact price yet, the 2026 Venue is expected to carry a slight premium over the current model due to its added features and upgrades. The new Venue could start around Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom) while the current Venue's price range is Rs 7.94 lakh to Rs 13.62 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India).
The 2026 Venue will continue to carry the SUV’s signature boxy stance but with a fresh, more premium look inspired by Hyundai’s larger Alcazar. Test mules reveal squared-out split LED headlamps, a larger rectangular front grille, a rugged bumper with new air intakes, and front parking sensors. The sides feature larger glass areas, bold wheel arches, and new alloy designs, while the rear gets a redesigned tailgate with connected LED tail-lights.
Inside, the changes are even more striking. The cabin is expected to feature dual 12.3-inch displays; one for infotainment and one for the driver’s instrument cluster, along with a panoramic sunroof. Comfort will be taken up a notch with ventilated front and rear seats that also offer reclining and sliding functions. Safety will see a boost with six airbags as standard, a 360-degree camera, ESP, hill launch assist, and Level 2 ADAS technology.
Under the hood, the new Hyundai Venue is likely to retain its current engine lineup: a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol, a 1.0-litre turbo petrol, and a 1.5-litre diesel. A factory-fitted CNG kit could also be introduced, and the diesel variant may finally get an automatic transmission option.
