The global-spec next-generation Jeep Compass has finally been unveiled, this time through real-world images that highlight the SUV’s bold new styling and electric transformation.
After months of teaser photos, Jeep revealed the new Compass alongside the announcement of a renewed partnership with Italian football club Juventus F.C. The 3-year sponsorship extension comes just as Jeep prepares to enter a new phase with its redesigned Compass SUV.
As part of its global marketing strategy, Jeep also confirmed the extension of its sponsorship with Juventus F.C. The Jeep logo will return to the club’s jerseys in the 2025–26 season, alongside new “Visit Detroit” branding — a tribute to Jeep’s American roots and Detroit’s automotive legacy. This co-branding will be visible on both men’s and women’s team kits, reflecting Jeep’s continued blend of sport, culture, and innovation.
With the debut of the next-gen Compass EV, Jeep is clearly signaling its intent to compete aggressively in the global electric SUV space.
The 2025 Jeep Compass has been revealed in a bold lime green colour with a black roof, showing off a brand-new design. Built on the STLA Medium platform, the SUV now looks boxier and more muscular than before. The front end has sleek LED headlights and a modern version of Jeep’s famous seven-slot grille, which is almost fully covered to match its electric identity.
The SUV stands tall on large 20-inch alloy wheels. Jeep has added some cool heritage details too, like Willys Jeep graphics on the wheel caps and a small Willys face carved into the front bumper. These touches suggest this could be a special launch edition of the new Compass.
While the Jeep continues to showcase the brand’s iconic boxy design, the SUV now sports new wrap-around tail lamps with a distinctive LED signature.
Under the hood, the new Compass will offer different engine options. The base model gets a 1.2-litre mild-hybrid petrol engine with 145 hp. A 1.6-litre plug-in hybrid version will produce 195 hp. The fully electric variants start at 213 hp, with the top model offering a strong 375 hp and all-wheel drive for better performance.
Production of the new Compass will commence in Italy by late 2025, with European markets being the first to receive deliveries. As of now, there is no official confirmation on when—or if—the new-generation Compass will arrive in India. The uncertainty is largely due to high import duties and complex tariff structures, which have affected pricing and feasibility for foreign-made EVs.
