Mahindra recently gave us a sneak peek of the XUV 3XO, the successor model to the XUV300. The online teaser offered some hints of its exterior and interior features. Ahead of its official launch on April 29, the automaker has confirmed that the new compact SUV will come up with multiple segment-leading features.
Please Note: Select dealers have unofficially started accepting bookings for the Mahindra XUV 3XO at a token amount of Rs. 21,000.
Mahindra XUV 3XO will stand out in the market with its segment-leading features. One of the segment-first features will be a panoramic sunroof! This will set a new standard in the market as none of its competitors like Tata Nexon and Maruti Suzuki Brezza offer a panoramic sunroof. Apart from this, a wireless phone charger and ventilated front seats will also be on offer.
Another interesting feature that the XUV 3XO will highlight is the fully digital instrument console. Mahindra will provide a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster to display your vehicle's status. This typically includes a speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, oil pressure gauge, and indicators for system malfunctions and warnings.

In addition to its digital instrument cluster, the XUV 3XO will get a larger 10.25-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system. The infotainment unit will be compatible with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with voice assist.
The upcoming XUV 3XO from Mahindra will receive major design updates. These include a sharper front end, refreshed LED DRLs, and revised front bumper and headlamp assembly. The lower bumper accommodates a larger air-intake. At the rear, notable changes involve a redesigned tailgate with a full-width LED light bar and more streamlined C-shaped tail lamps. Additionally, the registration plate has been moved from the tailgate to the bumper. Besides, the vehicle will run on a new set of alloy wheels with a dark chrome finish.
The upcoming XUV 3XO is expected to introduce a range of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). Now, this would be a significant addition as it is absent in the current XUV300 model. The ADAS tech will offer features like adaptive cruise control, autonomous emergency braking, blind spot monitoring and others. Safety will further be boosted with a 360-degree camera system and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).
The new XUV 3XO will retain the existing set of engines comprising of a 1.2L 3-cylinder turbocharged petrol and a 1.5L turbo diesel. The petrol engine offers two states of tunes - a 110bhp and 130bhp, while the diesel engine produces 120bhp. The more powerful petrol engine is also likely to be paired with a 6-speed torque convertor automatic gearbox.
