Mahindra XUV700 MX 5-Seater Automatic Variant Launch Soon

The most affordable XUV700 automatic variant coming soon To get 200PS, 2.0L petrol engine with 6-speed AT gearbox It will share the engine specs with the MX Manual Gearbox

The homegrown automaker, Mahindra has recently launched 3 new variants of the XUV700 premium SUV - MX 7-seater, AX5 S and the Blaze. The company is also planning to add a new base-spec MX variant with an automatic gearbox.

The existing Mahindra XUV700 SUV is offered with only a 6-speed manual gearbox. It is available with the both petrol and diesel variants and in both 5-and 7-seat options. The automatic gearbox will be offered with the 5-seater MX variant.

Mahindra XUV 700

The Mahindra XUV700 petrol version is powered by a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine that produces 200PS and 380Nm of peak torque. The existing MX petrol 5-seater manual variant is priced at Rs 14 lakh. We expect the automatic to cost around Rs 1.5 lakh to 1.8 lakh more than the manual version.

The new XUV700 MX 5-seater automatic variant will share its features with the MX manual variant. It is fitted with an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with smartphone connectivity, a 7-inch digital instrument console, tilt adjustable steering, rear AC vents, electrically adjustable ORVMs, follow me home headlamps, and arrow-head LED tail-lamps.

For safety and security, the base variant of the Mahindra XUV700 comes with twin front airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), speed sensitive door locks, and many more. In fact, the XUV700 is one of the safest SUVs in our market. It received a 5-star crash test rating from Global NCAP (New Car Assessment Program).
