Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 Coupe Launching on August 12

Mercedes-Benz has officially confirmed that the AMG CLE 53 4Matic+ Coupe will launch in India on August 12, 2025. This performance-focused coupe will join the Indian CLE line-up alongside the CLE 300 Cabriolet, offering a sportier, more powerful alternative for enthusiasts.

Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 Coupe - Aggressive AMG Styling

The AMG CLE 53 Coupe carries the signature AMG design elements, including the Panamericana grille with vertical slats, sleek LED headlamps, and a bold front bumper with a larger air intake. Flared fenders and air exits behind the front wheels add to its sporty stance.

The car is expected to come with 19-inch alloy wheels as standard, with optional 20-inch wheels available. At the rear, it gets a wider look with a unified tail-lamp design, quad exhaust tips, gloss-black diffuser, and side air outlets.

Premium AMG Interior

Inside, the layout is similar to the CLE Cabriolet but with distinct AMG touches. It features:

- 11.9-inch portrait-oriented touchscreen
- 12.3-inch digital driver’s display
- AMG-spec 3-spoke steering wheel with Alcantara, leather, and red stitching
- Carbon-fibre accents and an all-black cabin theme

In terms of features, it offers wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, Burmester sound system, 64-colour ambient lighting, heads-up display, wireless charging, and electrically adjustable seats with memory function.

Powerful Straight-6 Engine

The AMG CLE 53 Coupe uses a 3.0-litre twin-turbo inline-6 engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system. It produces 449hp and 560Nm (plus 40Nm extra in Overboost mode). Power is sent to all four wheels via a 9-speed dual-clutch gearbox and 4Matic+ all-wheel drive system.

Mercedes-AMG CLE 53 Coupe is expected to be priced around Rs 2 crore (ex-showroom). Its closest rival is the BMW M2, which offers 460hp and costs Rs 1.03 crore.
