Mercedes has confirmed the launch of Maybach SL 680 Monogram Series for India. The brand's flagship roadster was revealed internationally last year. Now, it will make its India entry on March 17.
From the design perspective, the SL680 gets Maybach-specific updates. Up front, it boasts a bespoke chrome grille, reworked bumpers, sweptback LED headlamps with rose-gold inserts, chrome exhaust tips, and multi-spoke alloy wheels.
Moving on the cabin, the Maybach SL 680 features dual-tone interior theme with White and Black leather. It also has three-spoke steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster, vertically-oriented touchscreen, AC vents in satin silver finish, Maybach logos on roll hoops.
Mercedes-Maybach SL 680 is powered by the 4.0-litre, twin-turbo V8 engine. This can churn out the maximum power of 577 bhp and 800 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic tranmissions, sending poweres to all 4 wheels using 4MATIC AWD system. This roadster can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in just 4.1 seconds and offers a top speed of 260 kmph.
