JSW MG Motor India is all set to introduce the much-anticipated Windsor EV on September 11, 2024. Ahead of the debut, MG has released a new teaser of its upcoming Crossover Utility Vehicle. The teaser showcases its water wading competencies. MG claims that the Windsor EV is designed to adapt and tackle diverse Indian road conditions.
In the teaser, MG Windsor can be seen navigating through challenging terrains. It also shows electric CUV's elevated ground clearance, which ensures smooth and secure drive in the challenging terrains.
The previous teaser reveals that the MG Windsor EV will come with India's first Aero-lounge seats with 35 degree recline. The crossover UV gets all-black leatherette seats with headrests for all 3 occupants in the second-row.
It is basically the re-badged Wuling Cloud EV on sale in select international markets. The MG Windsor EV is expected to receive a large 15.6-inch floating touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless connectivity. There are minimal switchgears or buttons on the dashboard, and most of the things will be controlled using the infotainment unit.
In terms of features, the MG Windsor EV will have a panoramic sunroof, an ADAS suite, a 360-degree surround view camera, 6 airbags, ESC, HHC, electronic parking brake with auto hold function, TPMS and others.
It is likely to receive a front-axle mounted electric motor, which draws power from a 50.6kWh battery pack. The combined power and torque output stands at 134bhp and 200Nm, respectively. It is likely to offer an impressive range of up to 500km on a single charge.
