New Kia Carnival will go on sale on October 3 Over 1,822 units have been booked in just 24 hours Expected to be priced between Rs 45-50 lakh (ex-showroom)
Kia Motors India is all set to launch the new Carnival in the market on October 3. Ahead of that, the company started accepting bookings from yesterday (September 16). Within just one day, Kia has clocked 1,822 bookings, setting a new record! Those who are willing to buy a new Kia Carnival can make a booking by paying the token amount of Rs 2 lakh.
The 2024 Carnival will receive a range of premium features inside. Some of these include a one-touch smart power sliding door and electrically adjustable powered seats for the 2nd row. Other noteworthy features include front & rear dash cameras, automatic climate control, a head-up display, a digital rearview mirror, a 12-speaker Bose Premium Sound system, and a dual 12.3-inch curved screen for infotainment & digital instrument cluster. A Level 2 ADAS will also be on offer, comprising features like Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Detection, and more.
New Kia Carnival will take power from a 2.2-litre 4-cylinder turbocharged diesel engine. This unit can produce 200 bhp of maximum power and 440 Nm of torque. It is paired with an 8-speed Sportmatic automatic transmission.
The new Kia Carnival will come as a Completely built-up or CBU unit and is expected to cost around Rs 50 lakh. The local assembly will start at a later stage. It won’t have a direct rival in our market. The Carnival will come as a premium alternative to the likes of the Toyota Innova Hycross and the Toyota Innova Crysta.
