Maruti Suzuki is pulling up their socks to launch the New-Generation Dzire. The updated sedan will come to the Indian market before the end of this year. Ahead of that, many essential details regarding its design enhancement, segment-first features, and new powertrain have surfaced online.
Let's have a quick overview of the list of top features of the 2024 Maruti Dzire:
The new Dzire will come with a dual-tone Black and Beige interior theme with a premium touch and multi-layered dashboard design. The interior body panels will be all-new; however, certain switchgear will be shared with the older model. The multi-layered dashboard will have premium touches, which we have already seen in the new Swift hatchback. However, the Swift gets an all-black interior scheme.
The next-gen Dzire sedan will come with a 9.0-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment system while the current version runs the 7-inch unit which is integrated into the dashboard. It will also have wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
One of the noteworthy updates would be the addition of a single-pane electric sunroof which is not available in the outgoing model. With this segment-first feature, the 2024 Dzire would be an affordable sub-compact sedan to buy with a sunroof.
Automatic Climate Control
Flat Bottom 3-Spoke Steering Wheel
USB Charging Ports at the Front & Rear
Wireless Charging
Semi-Digital Instrument Cluster
Rear AC Vents
Engine Start/Stop Button
For safety and security, the new Dzire will come with 6 airbags, an electronic stability program (ESP), hill hold assist, 3-point seat belts, and ABS with EBD as standard.
Maruti introduced the new 1.2-litre Z-Series petrol engine in the 2024 Swift. The same engine will be offered in the upcoming Dzire. Mated with a 5-speed MT and AMT gearbox, this 3-cylinder unit can churn out 80 bhp of power with 112 Nm of torque. The CNG variant could also be on offer later.
