Nissan India is all set to launch a facelift version of Magnite on October 4. The compact SUV will receive cosmetic design changes and updated features. It should be noted that the Magnite facelift will continue to use the same set of engines offered in the outgoing model.
From the design perspective, the Magnite facelift will feature a redesigned front grille, updated front bumper, reworked headlight housings, new 16-inch alloy wheels, and fresh LED tail lights. Inside the car, we will get to see updated seat upholstery. Other interior features include a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment, a 7-inch digital driver display, single-pane sunroof, wirless phone charger, and ventilated front seats.
2024 Magnite facelift will get six airbags as standard, a 360-degree camera, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and ISOFIX child seats anchorages.
Nissan will use the same engine choices available in the current Magnite compact SUV. Its 1.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol engine can produce 70 bhp with 96 Nm of torque whereas its 1.0-litre turbo petrol unit pushes out 99 bhp and 160 Nm. Transmission choices include 5-speed MT, AMT, and CVT.
Nissan Magnite facelift price will be slightly higher than the current model which stands at Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom). Expect the fresh model to be priced at Rs 6.30 lakh (ex-showroom). It will rival Mahindra XUV 3XO, Kia Sonet, Renault Kiger, and the upcoming Skoda Kylaq.
