Renault Bridger debut on March 10 Launch expected in 2027-28
The French automaker, Renault is set to announce the prices of the new Duster SUV for India on March 17, 2026. Adding to it, the newly announced Renault Bridger compact SUV concept is set to make its global debut on March 10. 2026. Ahead of its official unveil, Auto Moto has released new digital rendering based on the official teaser. The teaser reveals the possible design of its rear profile.
The rendering seems inspired by the Land Rover Defender, featuring boxy and upright stance. There is a tailgate mounted spare wheel, which adds to its sporty character. The SUV has uniquely designed tail-lights along with BRIDGER lettering on the tailgate. The rendering presents a boxy design for the SUV, featuring smoother surfaces, massive cladding all around the body, squared-off wheel arches, and blacked-out pillars. The concept has traditional door handles, black roof rails and side steps.

The new Renault Bridger concept based SUV is expected to be offered with a 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, turbocharged petrol engine that produces 99bhp and 160Nm of torque. Transmission choices could include a 6-speed manual and a CVT automatic. It is expected that the SUV could be offered with FWD setup as standard, and a 4WD version could also join the line-up.
Renault has confirmed that the Bridger SUV will be designed and developed in India. It will be manufactured at the company’s Chennai-based manufacturing facility. The new Renault Bridger concept based SUV is expected to be revealed in production avatar in 2027, and a possible launch by the end of 2027 or early 2028.
