Skoda Auto has revealed an iteration of the Kushaq in India during an ongoing event. Dubbed the Kushaq Explorer, this variant is purely conceptual, with Skoda clarifying that it has no immediate intentions to advance it to the production phase.
As seen in the images, the new Explorer Concept sports a matte green exterior paint job. It is equipped with front and rear hooks, roof rails, a roof-mounted LED light bar, and blacked-out badging.
Off-road enhancements of a functional nature consist of 215/65 section all-terrain tyres mounted on fresh blacked-out 16-inch wheels, boasting a taller profile compared to the 205/55 R17 tyres provided with the premium Style trim.
In addition, contrasting orange accents adorn various elements such as the bumpers, grille, side cladding, and the front skid plate.
While Skoda has yet to unveil the interior of the 2024 Kushaq Explorer Concept, it is disclosed that the model will see feature enhancements including a 360-degree camera, rear sun blinds, and Heads Up Display.
Plus, it is likely to retain all equipment from the Style trim, such as the 10.25-inch touchscreen, digital gauges, ventilated seats, sunroof, and others.
Powering the Skoda Kushaq Explorer will be a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder, TSI petrol engine. This motor can produce a maximum power of 148 bhp with 250 Nm of peak torque. Transmission options may include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG units. Further, the claimed mileage figures of the SUV currently stand at 18.60 kmpl for the manual while the automatic delivers 18.86 kmpl.
