The upcoming compact SUV will be built on the MQB A0 IN architecture. That means a lot of the parts will be made locally in India. So, it might be a good choice for people looking for a new SUV.

Skoda Compact SUV: Expected Name

Although the company has not revealed the name of the upcoming subcompact SUV yet, it has put forward several options for consideration. Among these are Kwiq, Kylaq, Kyroq, Kariq, and Kymaq, each accompanied by a unique tagline emphasizing its features.

Under the hood, it is expected that the upcoming Skoda sub-4 metre SUV will be equipped with a 1.0-litre 3-cylinder TSI turbocharged petrol engine. This unit is said to deliver a maximum power output of 114 bhp with 178 Nm of peak torque.
