Skoda will launch the upgraded versions of the Kushaq and Slavia sedan in the country in 2026. The Kushaq facelift is scheduled to be launched in early 2026, while the Skoda Slavia facelift could arrive at the end of 2026 or early 2027. The Skoda Kushaq facelift has been caught testing numerous times, revealing key changes.
The new Kushaq facelift will come with a 360-degree surround view camera. Other additions will include an updated touchscreen infotainment unit, a revised digital driver’s display and a premium sound system. Few reports claim that the new Kushaq will come with a panoramic sunroof. The single-pane sunroof could be offered on the lower-spec variants.
The outgoing misses out on the ADAS tech, which is available in most of its direct rivals. The Kushaq facelift will come with LEVEL 2 ADAS tech with features like adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, lane keeping assist, blind-spot monitoring, lane assist, forward collision warning and others.
The outgoing Skoda Kushaq has secured a five-star Global NCAP rating. The updated model will come with six airbags, ESC, hill hold, ABS with EBD and brake assist and a tyre pressure monitoring system.
The spy images reveal that the design changes will be cosmetic in nature. It will have Skoda’s Modern Solid design philosophy, featuring a new grille, refreshed headlamps and a redesigned bumper. Other design upgrades could include revised tail-lamps, a revised tailgate and new five-spoke alloy wheels.
The new Skoda Kushaq facelift will continue to be offered with a 1.0L TSI petrol and a 1.5L turbo petrol. While the former is good for 115hp and 178Nm of torque, the four-cylinder TSI unit produces 150hp and 250Nm of torque. Transmission choices include a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed torque converter automatic and a 7-speed DCT (1.5L turbo petrol).
