The Curvv EV offers class leading 500 litres of boot space apart from a frunk at the front. Overall, there will be 35 storage spaces in the compact electric SUV.

Just like we have seen with other Tata SUVs, the Curvv EV will have five variants on offer:
Tata stated that the Curvv ICE will have three engines on offer - Two 1.2-litre turbo petrol engines and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The three engines can be had with a DCA transmission and will pack exhilarating performance on the tap. Like its EV sibling, it will boast Level 2 ADAS suite, 360-degree camera and JBL speaker setup. It will blend exhilarating performance, sophisticated technology and unparalleled safety, Tata claimed.
Level 2 Advanced Driving Assistance Systems (ADAS) has been confirmed on the Curvv EV. Out of the 20 on board, some features of the safety suite include Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Collision Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert. The Curvv EV also offers six airbags as standard, Electronic Stability Programme, electronic parking brake and all-wheel disc brakes.
Curvv EV will be underpinned by Tata's most-powerful 123kW electric motor yet. This unit is capable of accelerating to 100 kilometres per hour from a standstill in 8.6 seconds. There will be multi-mode regenerative braking as well to make the most out of the battery
As anticipated earlier, Tata has announced an all-new charge point super-aggregator application for live status of over 9,000 chargers across the country. Some of the key partners in this initiative include Shell, Bharat Petroleum and Statiq.
Battery specifications for the Curvv EV are out. These will support a 150 km top up in 15 minutes. It goes from a 10 to 80% charge in 40 minutes with a 70 kW charger. V2L or Vehicle To Load also there.
After the Curvv EV, Tata Motors will launch multiple new electric vehicles in our market. The company will introduce the new Harrier EV in the first quarter of 2025. Moreover, the Safari SUV will also receive an electric derivative. Tata Sierra will return as an electric lifestyle SUV before the end of financial year 2026. Moreover, the Tata Avinya concept based models will start arriving from 2026 onwards.

As per multiple media reports, both the electric and ICE Curvv SUVs have been awarded five star safety ratings in the Bharat New Car Assessment Programme (BNCAP). We also expect the cars to offer a variety of active and passive safety features to further enhance the safety quotient.
There will be five colour options offered with the electric Curvv, whereas, there is no clarity on whether it will get dual-tone shades or not. They include Flame Red, Pristine White, Empowered Oxide, Pure Grey and Virtual Sunrise. Out of the five, three colours have been taken from the Nexon EV.
Reports suggest that Tata will also showcase the Curvv ICE during the launch of Curvv EV. However, prices for the former are expected to be disclosed next month. To know more about the ICE and EV Curvv SUVs, read our blog Tata Curvv Vs Curvv EV - Similarities And Differences.

The Curvv EV is the brand's fifth electric model, joining the likes of the Tiago EV, Tigor EV, Punch EV and the Nexon EV. With the new electric SUV Coupe, Tata Motors will aim to maintain its dominance in the fast growing electric vehicle segment. In this segment, the electric SUV Coupe will directly rival the MG ZS EV, Mahindra XUV400 and the BYD Atto 3. However, its real challengers, including the Hyundai Creta EV, Maruti Suzuki eVX, and Mahindra BE.05 will arrive in 2025.
On the battery front, reports suggest it will get two battery packs - 40.5 kWh and 55 kWh. The top spec Curvv EV will boast a range of 600 kilometres on a single charge. Furthere, it will also support both AC and DC chraging. It remains to be seen whether the electric SUV gets an AWD setup on launch.

Tata Curvv EV has a sports coupe design with connected DRLs at the front and back. Major exterior elements include flared wheel arches, flush door handles, 18-inch alloy wheels and panoramic sunroof. Inside, the EV is likely to get a four-spoke steering wheel with illuminated Tata logo, ventilated seats, twin digital screens, automatic climate control, powered tailgate and driver's seat and wireless chraging.
The Charge Point Aggregator App will be a part of Tata's Connected Car platform and will help users to plan their trips and find the nearest charging stations on the move. It has partnered with over 15 charging point operators pan India to provide real-time update of over 13,000 charging points across India.
