Tata Motors has revealed the most-awaited Punch.ev for the Indian market. As confirmed by the brand, the electric Punch is based on the All-New EV platform named Advanced Connected Tech-Intelligent Electric Vehicle (ACTIEV). Bookings for the Punch.ev have begun at a token amount of Rs 21,000. Prospective buyers can place the order for their electric micro-SUV via the company’s official website or from an authorized dealership.
As per the details shared by the brand, the upcoming electric vehicle will be equipped with a large 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system powered by Harman. Other notable features will include a 360-degree camera, multiple voice assistants, air purifier with AQI display, DC fast charging, a single-pane sunroof, ventilated front seats, and a wireless charger. On the safety front, it will offer 6 airbags as standard across all its variants.
The Punch.ev will be available in two variants namely Standard Range and Long Range. Both are expected to be powered by two battery packs; 25kWh and 35kWh, respectively. The smaller battery pack can be charged using a 3.3 kW charger while the larger unit supports a 7.2 kW DC fast charger. There are no details available currently regarding the charging time on both of these charger options.
Tata Punch.ev will be available in 5 variants namely Smart, Smart+, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered+. As per media reports, we can expect the model to offer 9 colour options.
Out of which 4 will be monotone while the rest of them will be 5 dual-tone. Among them, a new Oxide dual-tone paint scheme will be exclusively made available with the Empowered and Empowered+ variants.
