The much-awaited entry of Toyota's Land Cruiser Prado 250 is going to be finally marked at Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025. For the Indian markets, this vehicle could be claimed as a below-product LC300 by Toyota. This off-roading focused model was first launched in the global market in 2024. Let's see what could Toyota will bring for the Indian market in Land Cruiser Prado 2025:
The new Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 250 will be a luxury off-road SUV. Its competitors will include the premium variants such as Range Rover Velar, BMW X3, Audi Q5, and Mercedes-Benz GLC. Prado 250 is expected to be priced in the range of Rs. 1 crore to Rs. 1.10 crore, ex-showroom.
Inside the new Prado 250 will be very modernized and stylish. The cabin will be all black. The middle console will offer enough space to store, along with the handing of A-pillar that catches on to all your adventures over the rough terrains.
Some of the features that the Prado 250 will holds include a 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with a wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other notable features will get a 12.3-inch digital driver's display for visibility, multi-zone climate control for comfort, electrically adjustable front seats, panoramic sunroof, wireless phone charging, push-button start, and a 10-airbag presentation for safety.
The Toyota Land Cruiser Prado 250 will going to enter the Indian market with a 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine and could acquire mild-hybrid settings. The vehicle will enter the roads with an 8-speed automatic combination to deliver smoother performance.
In international market, Prado 250 comes with multiple engine such as a 2.4-litre turbo petrol hybrid, 2.8-litre diesel, and 2.7-litre petrol engine. The strong powertrain generates 325.48 bhp and 630 Nm of torque.
The Prado 250 is built on the GA-F platform of Toyota, the same as the underpinning LC300 Series. It will come at a length of 4,920 mm, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,870 mm in height with a 2,850 mm long wheelbase. That gives it an even higher rigidity, hence the Prado is perfect even for the roughest terrains.
