The 2024 Skoda Kylaq has been put through the "More Stars, Safer Cars" program. This car has risen to be one of the safest in the compact SUV line with great safety features. Kylaq scored high for Adult and Child Occupant Protection and was rated 5 stars by BNCAP. It implies that the Kylaq is one of the safest compact SUVs in the market. The Skoda Kylaq scored 30.88 out of 32 in Adult Occupant Protection (AOP). This score shows that the vehicle provides excellent protection for adult passengers in case of an accident. The Kylaq performed well in the frontal offset deformable barrier test (15.04/16) and the side movable deformable barrier test (15.84/16). It also passed the side pole impact test with a "Good" rating, further proving its ability to protect passengers during side collisions.
In Child Occupant Protection (COP), the Kylaq scored 45 from 49. Such a good score indicates how well the car would protect the child. ISOFIX child seat mounts in this vehicle will provide an easier time to securely mount the child seat. This car also contains an airbag cut-off switch to minimize chances of injury during the accident for the child.
Skoda Kylaq is equipped with a host of safety features in order to secure adult and child passengers. Frontal airbags, side curtain airbags, seat belt pretensioners, and belt load-limiters come as standard with the car. ESC and Pedestrian Protection System are part of the list of safety features. All models are also provided with seat belt reminders (SBR) in order to facilitate safe driving behavior.
The vehicle has been designed for maximum protection during both frontal and side impacts. In case of frontal impact, the injuries are minimized due to the coordinated effort of the airbags and seat belts. For side impact, the Kylaq offers side head, chest, and pelvis airbags for comprehensive protection.
