Toyota has launched a new mid-spec automatic variant for the Rumion MPV range. Priced at Rs 13 lakh (ex-showroom), this new mid-spec variant is named G AT. Interesting customers can make bookings at the token amount of Rs 11,000. Deliveries will start from 5 May 2024.
The Rumion is offered with three trims; S, G, and V. However, the automatic gearbox was available only on the base model (S) and the top-spec (V) trims. With the latest update, the automatic gearbox is now available with the mid-spec (G) trim as well.
Talking about the price differences, the new G AT is Rs 1.06 lakh costlier than the S AT and Rs 73,000 less than the V AT trim.
The Rumion MPV is powered by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol unit, paired with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox. The petrol engine can produce a maximum power of 101 bhp with 137 Nm of torque. While in CNG mode, this engine can deliver 86 bhp with 121 Nm of torque, paired with a manual gearbox.
Toyota Rumion is priced between Rs 10.44 lakh to Rs 13.73 lakh (ex-showroom). As for the rivals, the MPV competes with the Kia Carens and Maruti Suzuki Ertiga.
