Offered in 4 colour options, features Sound Edition badging outside New 7-speaker audio setup and powered front seats added Offered with only 1.0L TSI engine
Volkswagen cars has just launched the new Virtus and Taigun Sound Edition in India at Rs 15.51 lakh and Rs 16.33 lakh (ex-showroom). The special edition models get cosmetic exterior changes and add a few new features to the interior. Both the Virtus and Taigun Sound Edition will be sold in limited quantities, with bookings commencing today.

The new limited edition models are based on the Topline variants of the Virtus and Taigun and will be available in 4 unique colour options - Wild Cherry Red, Lava Red, Carbon Steel Grey, and Rising Blue. Other changes on the outside include new ‘Sound Edition’ badging and graphics on the C-pillar.

As the name suggests, the major change on the Taigun and Virtus Sound Edition is the new 7-speaker audio setup with an amplifier and subwoofer. This will help amplify the overall in-cabin experience for its customers. To sweeten the deal, the company is also offering powered front-row seats on both models.
Both the Virtus and Taigun Sound Edition are mechanically identical to their regular counterparts. The 1.0-litre TSI motor pumps out 115 bhp with 178 Nm of peak torque while the Transmission duties are carried through either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
The Virtus Sound Edition is priced between Rs 15.51 lakh (ex-showroom) - Rs 16.77 lakh (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, prices for the Taigun Sound Edition start from Rs 16.33 lakh (ex-showroom), going up to Rs 17.90 lakh (ex-showroom).
