The most awaited Skoda Superb has made its comeback in India today. Priced at Rs 54 lakh (ex-showroom), this premium saloon is available in a single, fully equipped variant with a single powertrain option. Interested buyers can book their New Superb by either visiting their nearest Skoda-authorized showroom or through the brand’s online platform. Deliveries are slated to commence later this month.
Regarding its design, the four-wheeler brings forward the traditional Skoda radiator grill finished in chrome, LED headlamps, air dams positioned on the lower half of the front bumper, LED fog lamps featuring a cornering function, and LED taillamps with crystal elements. Besides, it runs on newly designed 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
As for the exterior paint options, the car is available in three new colour choices. These include Rosso Brunello, Water World Green, and Magic Black.
In terms of features, it boasts a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with seamless mobile connectivity, electrically adjustable front seats, massage function for a driver’s seat, a leather-wrapped gear knob, and a 3-zone climate control system.
Furthermore, it comes equipped with a virtual cockpit, a 12-speaker Canton audio system, and roll-up sun visors for both rear windows and the windscreen.
Safety features include ABS, Hill Hold Control, Hill Brake Assist, TPMS, Electronic Parking Brake with Auto Hold, a 360-degree camera, Park Assist, and 9 airbags.
The updated Superb comes fitted with a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder TSI gasoline engine. This can generate 187 bhp of power with 320 Nm of peak torque. The power produced is transmitted to the front wheels through a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox.
