Toyota Kirloskar Motors has finally announced its newest member to its product portfolio, the Urban Cruiser Taisor. An extension of the Urban Cruiser lineup, this Fronx-based model is priced at Rs 7.73 lakh (ex-showroom) for the base variant while the top-spec model stands at Rs 13.03 lakh (ex-showroom).
Although the Toyota Urban Cruiser Taisor is based on the Maruti Suzuki Fronx, there are still a few distinctive details that set it apart from the latter. For instance, Toyota has offered a striking trapezoidal grille up the front with attractive chrome inserts. Other visual elements include tweaked bumpers, redesigned LED DRLs, and a sporty 16-inch alloy wheel design.
The vehicle is available in exciting 5 colour options. These include Sportin Red, Cafe White, Lucent Orange, Enticing Silver, and Gaming Grey.
Furthermore, the crossover offers a 360-degree camera, a Heads Up Display, a wireless charger, automatic climate control among other features.
The Urban Cruiser Taisor is available with two engine choices. One is a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated petrol unit. It pumps out the maximum power output of 88 bhp with 113 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 5-speed manual and AMT gearbox.
Another one includes a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol option which can deliver 99 bhp as peak power and 147 Nm torque. This engine is paired with a 5-speed manual and an automatic torque converter gearbox that includes paddle shifters.
Available with two engine options, the newly launched Urban Cruiser Taisor offers 12 trims in total.
