Toyota to launch Glanza facelift by October 2026 Innova Hycross and Hyryder facelifts arriving early next year Taisor facelift could get LEVEL 2 ADAS, sunroof and a hybrid engine
Toyota is preparing a wide range of new models for the Indian market in the next 1 year. The company will also introduce the updated version of the existing models, including the Glanza, Urban Cruiser Taisor, Innova Hycross and Urban Cruiser Hyryder. These mid-cycle updates focus on integrating advanced active safety tech, refresh styling and enhancing cabin experience to boost sales further.
The Japanese automaker, Toyota will introduce the Glanza facelift in the Indian market by October 2026. The hatchback will undergo its most comprehensive facelift yet. It will come with a completely revised front fascia, featuring a sharper front grille, revised bumper, and fresh alloy wheel designs.
Level 2 ADAS: it will come with the advanced driver assistance system with features like Autonomous Emergency Braking, Lane Keep Assist, Blind-Spot Monitoring and Adaptive Cruise Control.
New Powertrain Option: It is powered by a 1.2-litre Z-Series Petrol engine tuned for higher low-end city torque and exceptional mileage, alongside the factory-fitted CNG variants. This engine produces 83hp and 112Nm of torque.
New Features: It is packed with front ventilated seats, an updated 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment unit, wireless phone charging, and dynamic ambient lighting.
The Toyota Taisor will receive a mid-life facelift in early 2027. It will receive new front fascia with redesigned LED daytime running lamps along with a longer-list of features.
Enhanced Safety: the upcoming Taisor facelift will come with LEVEL 2 ADAS tech with features like autonomous emergency braking, lane assist, blind-spot monitoring and adaptive cruise control. It will come with 6 airbags, an updated 360-degree surround-view camera system, and others.
Tech Upgrades: it is likely to get a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, digital instrument console, and a factory-fitted sunroof.
Powertrains: It is expected to get a 1.2L 3-cylinder NA petrol and 1.0L turbo Petrol options, paired with manual and torque converter automatic gearboxes. MSIL is also preparing an entry-level Series Hybrid powertrain, which will utilise the 1.2L Z-Series engine as a generator and an electric motor to drive the wheels.
Toyota has started testing the Innova Hycross facelift, which is expected to be launched by the end of 2026 or early 2027. It will co with significant design changes and more features inside the cabin.
New infotainment unit & displays: it is packed with a fully digital 12.3-inch driver’s display and a larger, higher-resolution central touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
Cabin upgrades: It is likely to get a revised Ottoman-style captain seats with updated massage functions, wireless charging pads for rear occupants, and soft-touch interior trim updates.
Refined ADAS and Powetrain: the new Innova Hycross facelift is expected to get a revised Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 suite featuring smoother lane tracking and improved radar response. It will continue to be powered by a 2.0-litre naturally-aspirated petrol and the high-demand 2.0-litre strong-hybrid powertrains.
The Toyota Innova Hyryder facelift is expected to be launched sometime in early 2027. The SUV will get an exterior and interior overhaul.
Level 2 ADAS: it will finally receive advanced driver assistance system with features like Forward Collision Warning, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert, Lane Assist, Autonomous Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control and others.
Cabin upgrades: it is expected to be packed with electrically adjustable front seats, an updated 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and powered tailgate.
Engine Options: the mid-sized SUV will retain the 1.5-litre mild-hybrid engine and the efficient 1.5-litre strong-hybrid setup.
